Never touch anyone's head

The head is the most sacred part of the body in Thai culture. Never touch — even children's heads. This applies to everyone including monks.

Never point your feet at a Buddha image or a person

Feet are the lowest, least sacred part of the body. Sit with your feet pointing away from Buddha images in temples. Same goes for when sitting with locals.
